In the coming days, the newly formed FY 2021 Budget Committee will reconcile the House and Senate budgets.  This includes language to extend a law that allows the use of prescription drug co-pay assistance programs for Massachusetts patients.  This is a critical piece of legislation to help patients afford the prescriptions they need to manage their conditions and without action, the current legislation will sunset and the discounts will no longer be available.

Please reach out to members of the committee and urge them to include Section 32A of H5151 to extend co-pay assistance until 2023.
